- This Position is open for a close knit team member at an established used auto parts and metal recycling company, that has a strong purpose to innovate.
- We prefer someone with strong computer and IT skills, and strong proficiency with Google Drive, Google sheets, Google Documents.
- Familiarity with auto parts is a plus.
- Be able to communicate and cooperate with co-workers on site.
- Understand and work patiently to delegate and lead our off-shore team of virtual assistants.
- We can train you if you have the aptitude to learn our Yard Management System in order to inventory vehicles.
- Take charge of loading shipping containers for export, and create manifests for those containers.
- References are essential. Candidates are thoroughly vetted.
* Parts Puller and Shipping - Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm. See full time benefits below.
- $14-20/hour during training depending on prior experience. This will transition into performance pay after training.
- Will ship small parts like taillights and starter up to large parts like engines and truck boxes.
- Must have experience working with power tools and hand tools. We prefer that you bring your own tools.
- Forklift operation experience is needed, or willing to learn.
- You will have your own yard vehicle that you will lock.
- Must be able to work independently or as a team player.
- Must be able to problem-solve and self-learn.
- Help Improve processes for the Yard and Shipping department by cooperating with coworkers.
* In-Town & OTR Truck Driver - Seasonal Driving with Full Time work in Yard when not driving - Generally 8-5, Monday to Friday, occasional weekends. See full time benefits below.
- $0.40 per mile for USA-only trips and $0.45/mile for trips into Canada. The average hourly equivalent is approximately $20.30/hour before benefits.
- Need CDL Class A with endorsement for a manual transmission.
- Most out of state routes you will be back end of day, but may need to overnight in sleeper cab.
- Extra pay if you use other heavy machinery to load your trailer.
- Be safety conscious.
- Take care of equipment with daily inspections and verify repairs and maintenance.
- Be drug and alcohol free for minimum of 5 years prior to application for position.
* On-Site Recycling Operator - Generally 8-5 Monday to Friday, occasional weekends. See full time benefits below.
- $16/hour when training, $18/hour once training is complete, $20/hour when supervision is no longer needed.
- Will be using heavy equipment: weight scale, forklift, metal handler, excavator, wheel loader, crusher, baler, and more.
- Will sort, process, and grade metals with equipment and by hand.
- Helpful experiences includes a background in welding or working with metals; farming with machinery, auto or diesel mechanics, warehouse shipping and material handling.
- Will performs daily maintenance of machinery entrusted to you.
- Strong safety practices and work ethic.
* Automotive Dismantler - Typically Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm. This position offers schedule flexibility. See full-time benefits below.
- $14-20/hour during training depending on prior experience. This will transition into performance pay after training.
- Remove powertrain parts and other parts from your vehicles and drain their fluids.
- Must have experience working with power tools and hand tools. We prefer that you bring your own tools.
- Forklift operation experience is helpful.
- Be able to use tire dismounting machine.
- Be able to use torch or plasma cutter.
- You will have your own heated-indoor hoist.
- Must be able to work independently and efficiently.
- Must be able to problem-solve and self-learn.
